Overview

The TFA-Jr Academy Recreational League is an introduction to futbol program, serving recreational players within San Gabriel Valley. Our Jr Academy is dedicated to providing a fun, safe and community based program for our families. It is our mission to offer a program where players have the opportunity to technically improve while having fun and building a love of the game. Our recreational program is a stepping stone into the competitive program.

The TFA-Jr Academy Recreational Program is overseen by the Jr Academy Director.
Recreational soccer is open to all players between ages 3 and 10.
No tryouts are required to join a team.

Come out and experience TFA's Jr Academy, our official recreational program.
Our Jr Academy program is design as an introduction and learning experience to the sport of futbol.
It is recommended for all boys and girls, ages 3-10, who have the desire to learn and play soccer.

Open Enrollment
There are no tryouts for our Jr Academy program.

The TFA-Jr Academy Development Program is designed to give your child the opportunity to build a solid foundation in technical development in the very early years of playing and enjoying the game of soccer. The Jr Academy program serves as an introductory and path
for 3—10 years old soccer players.
Our program is devised as an In-House, non-travel program under the guidance of our
TFA Jr Academy Directors. They will educate, mentor and guide the volunteer Jr Academy coaches. We are committed to providing a fun, educational, and progressive experience for your youth soccer players. Not only are we committed to our youth players, but we also have a wonderful comprehensive coaching education curriculum and mentorship program specifically for
TFA-Jr Academy coaches.

Jr Academy U4-U6, U7-U8, U10 PROGRAMS
​
The vision for the Jr Academy program will be to have the following age groups where they would be gender specific
(except in the U4+U5 age group), have separate training sessions and matches alike:

Teams can be created with a mix of genders if necessary, but the vision of the Jr Academy program is to have boys teams & girl teams formed. If there is a mixed team then that team would be placed in the boys (co-ed) bracket of that age group.
During the Fall season, respective JR Academy Team coaches will have two training sessions per week and in the Spring there will be one session per week.
